Boulder Colorado’s Garden of the Gods, The View Looking Down
This morning I posted some photos I took yesterday afternoon. My wife and I hiked the Red Rocks trail on the West side of Boulder and hung out in the sun for a few hours. The weather was fabulous and the sky was deep blue. You could almost feel spring knocking on the door.
This morning’s photos were mostly of the rock formations. Below are a couple of shots looking down on downtown Boulder and also Colorado University. You can see the stadium in the distance on the left side of the second photo. I also included one more photo of the rock formations.
Boulder is an awesome place to live, work and play.

In contrast, the largest percentage increase in foreclosure filings was seen in Boulder (38.4%), Broomfield (28.4%), and Douglas (26.8%) counties where average home prices are generally higher than Denver and Adams. While the absolute number of foreclosure filings in these counties is still less than Denver and Adams, the percent change is huge and clearly indicates a shift in the foreclosure trend. Although the higher priced homes were a little more insulated from the initial wave of foreclosure activity, the data shows they are not immune to the problem. The weak economy and job losses are now impacting the higher income brackets.
