A Special Boulder Colorado Monday Morning Mountain Motivation Photograph

Tweet This ArticleAs many of you may know I am forever inspired and motivated by the beautiful mountains views here in Boulder Colorado. I am constantly amazed at the different views I observe at various times of day and location as I move about the area. I try to keep my camera with me all the time because I am never sure exactly what I may see.

The photograph below, staged as it may be, is extra special. This is my son Sean posing reluctantly in front of the Flatiron range. Sean is 14 years old and doesn’t like to have his picture taken. He is a playful boy, cheerful most of the time and forever curious about the world around him. I love him dearly and I am very proud to be his father.

So this morning’s motivational photograph is extra special for me—my son Sean and the Flatiron Mountain range here in Boulder Colorado. The two together are equal to much more than the sum of the parts.

Have a wonderful day and week. May it be one of your best.

Sean

John, definitely inspirational.  Love the mountains and what a super shot.  I share your sentiments exactly - the dearest thing to me too is family.

Thanks for sharing that John. I wonder why he's camera shy? Wonderful scenery from a fellow dad and nature lover.

Hi John ~ At least Sean let you post this online. My sons are older and there's no way they'd go for that... Aah, there are times I wish they were 14 again...

Beautiful shot. That really is the perfect back drop.

Hi John,Very nice photo and indeed the mountains will always be joy to view as they change color with the light and atmosphere. I see your snowfall is not terribly heavy as might be expected this time of year but guessing it is very cold despite the open coat on your son. :-). Thanks for sharing this very nice photo story with our Photo Blogger group.

Great looking photo John!  And you have a good looking kid that you will need to beat the girls away from to keep order in the house:-)  Your Colorado landscape is spectacular!
