Hi John-

We are having a new home built and it will be under Energy Star certification.  I am excited by that as not only will it benefit us while living in the home, it will be a great bonus to advertise to potential buyers when we sell.

Lower energy costs are a huge draw for upper and mid-level buyers in our market and I expect that number to expand across the price ranges over the next two years.

I bet the energy efficiency is especially important during those cold winter months of Colorado.

Energy efficiency is becoming more accepted and it's a good thing.  It really helps for not only saving resources and money.  It also makes a more comfortable home.
