Boulder County Colorado: The Perfect Mountain View
I took the photo below this morning. To me this is one of the most picture perfect mountain views anyone could expect to get in Boulder County. The home is located in the northern part of Louisville on the west side of McCaslin Blvd. just before getting to South Boulder Road. In addition to the incredible backdrop, what you cannot see is the incredible view of the city of Boulder below on the other side of the house.
We got a little moisture over the past couple of days so that means snow up in the high country. It was sunny and clear this morning so the contrast between the foothills and the snow capped mountains was especially good.

John - That's a property with an amazing view! Having the mountains in the background provides perspective as to just how majestic they really are.
The first time I saw the Rocky Mountains was driving west from Colorado Springs to a lake to fish.
I was absolutely awe struck.
I had seen photos of scenes like the one in your photo, but never the real thing. I could hardly believe my eyes.
John, What a beautiful photo. It is so perfect it looks like a postcard. Love the contrast.
Nice John! We are lucky to be here in beautiful Colorado, aren't we?? Thanks for reminding me of the beauty right in my own back yard.
That is simply amazing. Is that one of your listings, or are you blessed with that view? Either way, fabulous.
John, that is one heck of a view! Lucky whoever lives in that house, no curtains just awesome scenery all year long!
And congrats on the feature!
I am a big fan of Boulder, It's a lot like the Rocky Mountain version of Austin!
Hi John,
Great Photo. I'm would like to get a green certification this year, any advise?
Paul
Hi John,
I must go and see Colorado
Great photo
Josh
John,
That is a ,gorgeous picture. Colorado is a magnificient state and Boulder is a quintessential college town, how wonderful that you are living there and representing beautiful properties.
Nice backdrop with the mountains....Pretty picture...how is the house?

John - Very pretty but I'm still partial to the Sierra Nevada mountain range at Lake Tahoe :-) Thanks for sharing though. When I drove across country and went through Denver I couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about :-) This clears it up for me...
Hi John, In between being sick, I had to go to the desertfor 2 days , And the lushness of Palm Desert.CA and the mountains with snow caps in the background was just beautiful. I tried to capture the photos with a tripod and the new 300mm lens and could not. Fearing that the lens must be damaged as I can not thus far get one photo that is in any kind of focus, even after changing all the settings and even trying to use manually focus. I gave up as I was getting my second bout of the cold/flu and just didn't have any fight left to continue.
I would imagine that in Colorado, with the amazing grandness of natural settings , coupled with the stunning snow peaks, it must give you a genuine thrill to behold. This photo is just great.
Just beautiful, John. It almost doesn't look real. I'd love to see that view of Boulder that you mention.
Want a view to wake up to.
John, that is beautiful!
John, I'm a big fan of the beauty of Colorado and the Rockly Mountains. I don't get to visit there often enough. How lucky that you get to wake up to this view (or one like it) every day. Enjoy!
Hi John,
Absolutely beautiful!
Dawn
I love this view. I see it out my bedroom window every morning. :) It never gets tiresome.

I love Boulder! You are so fortunate!
Dude:
I love that house! I'll give you $50,000 for it; CASH! =)
Seriously, I'd be willing to close quickly. That's just the kind of guy that I am ...
did someone mention fishing with a view? pic me!
Great shot and thanks for sharing it - John Denver sure knew what he was singing about.
Hi John ~ Fantastic photo. Congrats on the feature.
Denise
John... nice pic! Living in Colorado is like having your cake and eating it too!
Colorado is my #1 non-western State (you knew that I'm addicted to California, right? LOL).

Being from the state where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, your picture of mountains is welcome.
John - beautiful photo...and gorgeous view. It looks so peaceful...
That's an awesome view. I live in the South, but when we visited Colorado a few years ago I was amazed by the Aspen trees! Yes, I bought one of those little gold plated leaves!
Hi John, We are so lucky to live in such a scenic state, aren't we? Everywhere we look is a beautiful view!

What a wonderful title - is the house for sale?
Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments. I do, like many of us here, feel blessed to live in this beautiful part of the country. For the record, it is not one of my listings. It is simply a multi-million dollar house with a mega-multi-million dollar view. I stopped beside the road to take the photo.
Aaron...thanks for the offer. I suppose $50k may serve as earnest money if the home were for sale.
Cheers to all...~john
John-what a gorgeous shot! The scenery is breath taking!
