Boulder, Colorado: Tulips, Tulips, Tulips
I went for a walk yesterday on Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder. The tulips were in full bloom. Fresh Tulips are planted each year in gardens that run on both sides of the walkway for the full length of the mall.
The sides of the walkway are alternately planted to give a continuous array of fresh beautiful tulips. The north side was fully bloomed while the South side was yet to show flowers. It is truly a sight to behold.
Yesterday was a wonderful sunny spring day and the tulips looked especially gorgeous in the bright sunshine. I hope you, too, are enjoying your spring.

The luminescence of those blossoms causes them to almost jump off the screen. The lower three photos are spectacular!
I wonder why the South tulips were lagging behind the North tulips. Interesting. Nonetheless, I love tulips and your pictures are beautiful. You should join the ActiveRain Nature Station group and post your photos there, too.
