Heaven and Earth: As Above, so Below…
I took these two photographs a couple of weeks ago on a hike to Cub Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park in Larimer County Colorado. These are definitely two of the more unique photographs I have taken. The first is looking up at the sky. The second captures the sky’s reflection in the water. The reflections are not identical because I couldn't locate the exact cloud in the sky that was being reflection.
The cloud I photographed reflects perfectly in the still water except for the ripples of a water bug. The weeds and the rock beneath the surface of the water are in sharp contrast to the sky above.
Such are the days of our lives. The lake of our hearts and minds contain our body of water reflecting the open sky of Spirit.
As above, so below…Heaven and Earth are One

John
You can tell it was definitely a GOOD day for all
Interesting take on reflections, John. Nice depth to the photos and the post.
John very nice photos...I hope you had a wonderful day!
Take care!
Wow John - For a moment there, I thought the lower picture was of a crop circle, until I realized it was a reflection. Really neat looking photo! As above, so below, is what comes to mind when one looks at The Magician card in the ancient tarot. The Magician has one hand and finger pointed up, while the other is pointed down. Balancing the elements, is the goal!
Simply beautiful John! Thank you so much for posting this. Your words are so appropriate.
John, those are great photos! Great job!
Those photos provide food for thought - or a topic for a serious meditation! thanks!
