Boulder Colorado Morning Mountain Views
My bicycle route this morning was north on Hwy. 36 to Neva/Niwot road and then east to 95th Ave. From there I went south to Valmont and West back into Boulder. The loop is about 25.5 miles and currently takes me about an hour and 40 minutes to complete.
Today I decided to take my camera with me. As I was heading south on 95th I got some great shots of the early morning sun on the Front Range. There were some balloons lifting off from Boulder Airport which looked great with the mountain backdrop.

That top photo looks like it has a balloon in it. . .As long as it isn't "Balloon Boy" I suspect Colorado is happy:-)
What a beautiful area you live in - one of these days I really need to visit!
John,
I'm going to be the first to congratulate you on reaching 200K with your next blog....
Wow, I'd love to use these photos as screen savers! I think the next little road trip my husband and I make will be to Boulder CO. Thanks so much for sharing!
John, those are nice photos, had I been riding a bike that far and at that pace there is no way that the camera would of stopped bouncing up and down from my panting to catch my breath!
You took a nice long ride!I had to quit riding my bike, and teaching my Spinning classes as well, when my neck started giving me trouble =( Now I just walk and sometimes job a tiny bit. But it doesn't take much to irritate my neck. So I stick with my 4-6 mile walk. It usually takes me about an hour. I get a lot of praying done anyway =) But no photos since I like to walk in the middle of the night. My hubby says I'm a vampire. lol
