Rocky Mountain Clouds
The photos below were taken during a trip to Steamboat Springs Colorado about a month ago. The white cumulus clouds seemed to be rolling across the sky like cookie dough.
I love the mysterious ever-changing patterns of clouds. One moment there is a horse and the next there is a tree…seconds later there may be a face before blending once again into nothingness.
Such are the days of our lives…we come, we dance across the sky of life before blending once again from whence we came.

Great Photos....what camera are you shooting. Thanks for sharing the beauty
Looking at these photos makes me homesick - I miss the mountains of Austria ...
John, You definitely captured the essence of the clouds on the Rockies...GREAT photos.

You should join the Clouds at ActiveRain group and the ActiveRain Nature Station group and post there, too!
Are those the Rocky Mountain clouds where John Denver got his Rocky Mountain high? LOL
Robin...I am using a Nikon Coolpix P50--everything is automatic so I just point and shoot.
Susanne...Austria, wow, sounds exciting...I'd like to go there too.
Michael...Thanks for your comments. I am always snapping clouds, trees, flowers or whatever looks interesting.
Russel...Thanks for the tip...No surprise that there is a group for just about everything on AR. Thanks for stopping by.
Hi John, Great photos (as usual) I always see things in the clouds and like you said, in an instant they morph into something else. Meanwhile, the people with me are saying, what bear, I don't see a bear! LOL
