Boulder Bike Ride Sunrise 1 August 2010
Yesterday I was out before dawn again on an early morning bicycle ride north of Boulder. It was just a 25 mile ride up Hwy 36 to Lyons and back to Boulder. I got back in plenty of time to make the early service at Columbine Unity Church.
I managed to catch the sunrise about 7 miles north of Boulder. It was quite spectacular but it didn’t last very long as the clouds took over pretty fast. Still, I managed to get a few decent shots.

Hey John!
I love all of the pictures...They are amazing...
Ahhh the beauty of nature...
Thank you!
Hi John,
Oh my gosh, you rode uphill for 25 miles! Youzza, good for you, I love to ride myself, yet I'm more of a downhill person (lol).
Thank you so much for the spectacular photos!
Thanks Joshua...Nature at her best indeed.
Lynda...Thanks for stopping by...this ride wasn't all up hill but there were a few challenging ones along the way.
I envy you. I'd love that take that ride. Maybe someday.
Go for it Rich...You can do it. Give it a shot. Someday never comes but today is always here.
Hi John,
Thanks for the response, I just had to check back, sure sounds like a great ride to me! Congrats on a job well done.
