Flowers in the Early Morning

Flowers in the Early Morning

I set off on an early morning bike ride this morning. I was late leaving at around 5:45 am but managed to finish one of my stronger rides.

As I headed up Lee Hill Drive out of Boulder toward Jamestown, I stopped to photograph some flowers. It was cloudy so it was still quite dark. The flash came on and gave me a few good shots of the flowers. I didn’t notice the bugs on the yellow flowers until I looked at the pictures.

You have some nice shots, John.  I really like the blue flower it reminds me of a ferris wheel.

Nice pics. My neighbor planted some sunflowers along their sidewalk this year. I get to see them every morning and it's a nice site.

John - I like those little blue flowers.  I see them in some areas of California, and always enjoy them when I do!
