Boulder Fire In Four Mile Canyon

Boulder Fire In Four Mile Canyon

There is a huge fire burning here in Boulder Colorado in Four Mile Canyon. Boulder is completely enveloped in thick yellow smoke.

Ash is falling from the sky. The smell of smoke permeates everything. The sky is yellow and the sun is a strange burnt red color.

Early reports are that several structures have been destroyed and a fire truck burned over. Evacuations have been ordered for Four Mile Canyon and Sunshine Canyon.

More to follow later today…

That's terrifying.  I certainly hope it's under control soon.

I live in Aurora and can see some of the smoke. It's a horrible fire and hopefully no one gets hurt.

Hi John, Of course I thought of you - the beautiful photos from the Peak to Peak Highway etc... I hope you and your family are safe.  The winds are dropping, hopefully they will change direction and the wind will push the fire back onto itself.  Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
